Belt Alignment Systems
Belt misalignment is a constant operational concern that can result in conveyor breakdown, higher energy costs or premature wear of the steel structure, idlers and pulleys.
These problems force workers to intervene rapidly, thus increasing the risk of a serious accident.
Brunone has two families of products for solving alignment problems: the SPAR7 and the SPAR AC. These are described below.
SPAR7 Belt Guide
- A simple and effective solution, especially for low-speed conveyors
- Easy to install and requires almost no maintenance
- Suitable for belts from 18″ to 96″ wide
- Maximum recommended belt speed of 400’/minute
SPAR AC INF Return Belt Alignment System
- Particularly effective with reversible belts
- Safeguards belt alignment
- Functions with either the return side or the clean side
- Belt alignment based on friction differential
- Suitable for belts up to 72’’ wide (larger widths available upon request)
SPAR AC Self-Training Loading System
- Particularly effective with reversible belts
- Safeguards belt alignment
- Belt alignment based on friction differential
- Can be equipped with a SPARMAT impact bed, depending on the particle size of the material transported
- Suitable for belts up to 72’’ wide (larger widths available upon request)
- Maximum belt speed of 1200’/minute
